#) Type the phrase "First cut/paste test" into the text widget.

   word, pressing MB1 and dragging the cursor through the word.

   word "cut/paste" will appear on the first line of the bottom
   client's text widget.

#) Select the top client's "LOCK" toggle button with MB1.  The
   box to the left of the label will now be filled.
#) Select "First" from the top client's text widget with MB1.
#) Select the top client's "CUT" pushbutton with MB1.
#) Select the bottom client's "PASTE" pushbutton with MB1.  The
   message "paste inquire length failed" will be printed in the
   xterm window.
C)
#) Select the bottom client's "LOCK" toggle button with MB1.  The
   message "lock failed" will be printed to the xterm window.
#) Select the top client's "LOCK" toggle button with MB1.  The
   box to the left of the label will now be empty.
#) Move the pointer into the text widget of the bottom client.
#) Move the text input cursor to the next blank line.
#) Select the bottom client's "PASTE" pushbutton with MB1.  The
   word "First" will appear on the second line of the bottom
   client's text widget.
#) The test is finished. Before exiting this test, pull down
   CLOSE from the window menu
   for both clients.
