\fBXmTextSetTopCharacter\fP sets the position of the text at the top
of the Text widget\&.
If the \fBXmNeditMode\fP is \fBXmMULTI_LINE_EDIT\fP, the line of text
that contains \fItop_character\fP is displayed at the top of the widget
without the text shifting left or right\&.
If the edit mode is \fBXmSINGLE_LINE_EDIT\fP, the text moves horizontally
so that \fItop_character\fP is the first character displayed\&.
