<p>Conoscere il proprio indirizzo IP può essere utile per risolvere problemi con la propria connessione a Internet. Si potrebbe essere sorpresi scoprendo che si hanno <em>due</em> indirizzi IP: uno che identifica il computer nella rete locale e un altro che lo identifica in Internet.</p>

<p>Open the <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview and
start typing <gui>Network</gui>.</p>

<p>Click on <gui>Network</gui> to open the panel.</p>

<p>Choose which connection, <gui>Wi-Fi</gui> or <gui>Wired</gui>, from
the left pane.</p>
<p>The IP address for a wired connection will be displayed on the
right.</p>

button to see the IP address for the wireless network in the
