<title>Capturas de pantalla e «screencast»</title>

  <p>You can take a picture of your screen (a <em>screenshot</em>) or record a
  video of what is happening on the screen (a <em>screencast</em>). This is
  useful if you want to show someone how to do something on the computer, for
  example. Screenshots and screencasts are just normal picture and video files,
  so you can email them and share them on the web.</p>

  <steps>

      <p>Open <app>Screenshot</app> from the
      <gui xref="shell-introduction#activities">Activities</gui> overview.</p>

    <item>
      <p>In the <app>Screenshot</app> window, select whether to grab the whole
      screen, the current window, or an area of the screen. Set a delay if you
      need to select a window or otherwise set up your desktop for the
      screenshot. Then choose any effects you want.</p>

       <p>Prema <gui>Facer captura de pantalla</gui>.</p>
       <p>Se selecciona <gui>Seleccionar área que capturar</gui>, o cursor converterase nunha cruz. Prema e arrastre o área que quere para a captura de pantalla.</p>

      <p>Na xanela <gui>Gardar a captura de pantalla</gui>, escriba o nome do ficheiro, seleccione o cartafol e prema <gui>Gardar</gui>.</p>
      <p>De forma alternativa, importe a captura de pantalla directamente no seu aplicativo de edición de imaxes sen gardar previamente. Prema <gui>Copiar ao portapapeis</gui>, pegue a imaxe noutro aplicativo ou arrastre a miniatura da captura de pantalla no aplicativo.</p>

    <p>Tome unha captura rápida do escritorio, unha xanela ou un área en calquera momento usando estes atallos de teclado globais:</p>

    <p>When you use a keyboard shortcut, the image is automatically saved in
    your <file>Pictures</file> folder in your home folder with a file name that
    begins with <file>Screenshot</file> and includes the date and time it was
    taken.</p>

      saved in your home folder instead.</p>

  <title>Facer un «Screencast»</title>

  <p>Pode facer unha gravación de vídeo do que está producíndose na súa pantalla:</p>

      to start recording what is on your screen.</p>
      <p>A red circle is displayed in the top right corner of the screen
      when the recording is in progress.</p>

      again to stop the recording.</p>
