<title>IRC</title>
   <p>IRC signifie Internet Relay Chat (en français, « discussion relayée par internet »). C'est un système de messagerie instantanée multi-utilisateurs. Vous pouvez obtenir de l'aide et des conseils à propos du serveur IRC de GNOME auprès des autres utilisateurs et développeurs de GNOME.</p>
   <p>Pour vous connecter au serveur IRC de GNOME, utilisez <app>Empathy</app> ou <app>xchat</app>, ou utilisez une interface Web comme <link href="http://chat.mibbit.com/">mibbit</link>.</p>
   <p>Pour vous créer un compte IRC sur Empathy, consultez la <link href="help:empathy/irc-manage">documentation d'Empathy</link>.</p>
   <p>Le serveur IRC de GNOME est <sys>irc.gnome.org</sys>. Il est parfois aussi nommé le "réseau GIMP". Si votre ordinateur est correctement configuré, vous pouvez cliquer sur le lien <link href="irc://irc.gnome.org/gnome"/> pour accéder au canal <sys>gnome</sys>.</p>

      While IRC is a real-time discussion medium, people tend to not reply immediately, so be patient.
