<p>Conectividade do GIO é construída sobre as APIs de fluxo <link xref="tech-gio">usadas por arquivos</link>. Ela fornece APIs de alto nível para comunicar sobre TCP/IP e soquetes de domínio UNIX. Você pode usar as APIs de conectividade GIO para conectar a um servidor, ouvir por eventos e ler recursos. A API assíncrona significa que seu aplicativo não bloqueia enquanto espera por uma resposta a partir da rede.</p>
