<title>Redes GIO</title>

  <p>Construida en la parte superior del flujo de API <link xref="tech-gio">usadas por archivos</link>, GIO proporciona API de red de alto nivel para comunicarse sobre sockets de dominio TCP/IP y UNIX. Puede usar las API de red GIO para conectarse a un servidor, detectar eventos, y leer los recursos. El diseño asíncrono de la API significa que su aplicación no se bloquea esperando una respuesta.</p>
