  <p>Champlain s una biblioteca que proporciona widgets para renderizar mapas. Los mapas se pueden de varias fuentes, incluyendo <link href="http://www.openstreetmap.org/">Open Street Map</link>.</p>

  <note>
    <p>libchamplain se llama así en honor de Samuel de Champlain, famoso navegante francés, explorador y cartógrafo. Es el «padre de la nueva Francia» y el fundador de la ciudad de Québec, cuyo 400 aniversario fue en 2008, el año en que se creó esta biblioteca.</p>
