</pre></div><div class="refsection" title="Description"><a id="idp4085848"></a><h2>Description</h2><p>The parameter applies only for <code class="sgmltag-element">informaltable</code>s that
do not have a <code class="literal">tabstyle</code> attribute. With dblatex its role
is to specify the latex table environment to use, so the set value must be
a valid latex environment. The supported values are:
</p><div class="variablelist"><dl><dt><span class="term">longtable</span></dt><dd><p>The default table type used by dblatex, in order to be able to split over several pages. When the parameter is empty and no tabstyle attribute is defined, it is the applied value.</p></dd><dt><span class="term">tabular</span></dt><dd><p>The most usual table type. Such table can only be on a single page.</p></dd><dt><span class="term">tabularx</span></dt><dd><p>An advanced table type that allows to stretch column widths to the available remained page width. Such table can only be on a single page.</p></dd></dl></div><p>
