Reported By: Juergen Schoenwaelder; j.schoenwaelder@iu-bremen.de Date: Tue, 27 July 2004 12:41:36 +0200 The DateAndTime textual convention did not originally define a special value which can be used in situations where a DateAndTime value is unknown or for some other reason not available. Several MIB modules on the IETF standards-track use the value '0000000000000000'H in such situations. In order to formally legalize this established practice, the following errata to the DESCRIPTION clause of the DateAndTime textual convention has been filed: OLD: 2 3 month 1..12 3 4 day 1..31 NEW: 2 3 month 0 | 1..12 3 4 day 0 | 1..31 Reported By: Juergen Schoenwaelder; schoenw@ibr.cs.tu-bs.de Date: Sat, 8 Dec 2001 00:55:51 +0100 In Section 7.1.1 "The RowStatus textual convention is used to manage the creation and deletion of conceptual rows, and is used as the value of the SYNTAX clause for the status column of a conceptual row (as described in Section 7.7.1 of [2].)
